FAQ's
Can I return the painting?
If you find that the art just doesn't work on your wall, you may return the original painting  in perfect condition within 10 calendar days of receipt for a refund,  minus shipping.  Returns must be shipped in original carton.   Authorization  must be obtained from artist before shipping back.   Paintings that are returned with any kind of imperfections will not be refunded.

This does not apply to commissioned paintings or sale items.

If a painting is damaged in the shipping process I will take it back and repair it.  You must notify me within 48 hours of receiving the painting.    You pay the shipping back one way.

May I make prints from the artwork that I bought?
I  retain all digital duplication rights to all pieces of work including commissions.  I retain the right to duplicate reproductions of all works that I have created.  You may purchase the right to retain reproduction rights.
Contact me at lillianjanenealfineart.com to discuss purchasing those rights.    Work is protected by copyscape.  Do not duplicate it in any way without explicit written permission from me.
Many times, I am willing and honored to give permission after discussing the use.
As a collector, you have the right to display the artwork but it may not be sold by you without my written permission.

When will you ship my artwork?
I appreciate your purchase!  Many times when I post a newly painted piece, it will be very wet.  If it is an oil, it will many times take 30 days to dry.  I will then either wax it or varnish it depending on your desires.
An acrylic painting, ink, or watercolor dries much faster and will most likely be ready to ship next day.

Will my painting be shiny or matte?
That totally depends on you and the type of medium that I have used.  Of coarse watercolors are always matte as they are on paper.  If you desire a matte finish on oils or acrylics, simply let me know and I will finish it will wax.  If you like high gloss, let me know, and I will glaze it with a high gloss varnish protection.

How will my artwork be shipped to me?
I will expertly and carefully wrap your original in padding and box it up in a sturdy box.  It will be shipped via Fedex or USPS depending on the shipping cost.  If you require express shipping you will pay for the express.  Any piece 16"x20" or under will be free shipping within the continental U.S.  a flat 10.00 fee will be applied to larger pieces.  If you commission a very large piece, I will ship it un-stretched.  It will be up to you to either stretch it yourself or take it to a framer.  This is not a big deal and certainly offsets the super high shipping costs of the giant artworks.

If the art is on watercolor paper or yupo, I will sandwich it between sturdy cardboard or other substrate, wrap it in bubble wrap, and brown paper.  It will be safely transported to survive shipping.  The largest size I will do is 24"x28", and it can safely be shipped flat.  Again, if over 16"x20", there will be a flat 10.00 shipping fee within the continental US.

Allow 3 days for handling, and 7 business days for shipping.  I will work hard to ship next day if possible.

If shipped outside the continental U.S. you will pay the actual shipping cost.

Where can I see your work?

How to I care for my art piece?
Original paintings on canvas should be hung out of direct sunlight and away from high moisture areas.  They may be lightly dusted on occasion to remove any airborne debris.
Original ink paintings on yupo come with a UV protection, but should not be hung in direct sunlight.  I recommend that these be framed under glass.
Watercolor paintings should be framed under glass and not hung in direct sunlight or high moisture areas.
Reproductions should not be hung in direct sunlight or high moisture areas.
Prints should be framed as soon as possible and not hung in direct sunlight or high moisture areas.

fineartamerica.com/art/lillian+jane+neal
If you order from this site, it will be sent directly to you, and I cannot control the quality.  However, I have been very happy with my purchases.

I'm curious about your "Live" paintings.  What is all that about?
It's becoming popular and fun to commission me to come to our event and paint as part of the entertainment and to have a beautiful memory of the special occasion.  If you are turning this over in your mind, just contact me and we will see if it is something that we can do.  Time and distance will be considered.  I love doing these.  Not very many artists do this, which makes it even more special.

I love one of your paintings, but it's the wrong color.  Can you do another?
All originals that I paint are original.  I cannot reproduce them exactly.  However, for most of them, I can do something very similar with the color palette that you desire.
